This article is intended to inform the User on how to merge duplicate customer records

Process

Log in to Trident1

1. Visit the Trident1 provided website

2. Enter your username and password

3. Click Login

Navigate to the Customers Module

Click the Customer menu

Navigate to the Customers Merge Module

1. Click the 3-line icon at the far-right

2. Click Customer Merge

Within the Customer Merge dialog:

3. Type in the customer’s name or customer number in the Merge with Customers field

4. Select the Customer Name that you would like to stay and house the customer information

5. Under the ‘Search Customers Keyword’ type in the customer’s name and press enter

6. Click on the name that you would like to merge with the above name

7. Click on the right-facing arrow to move over the names that you would like to merge under the main

8. Click Merge

Upon successful merge, you will receive a prompt that states ‘Merge Operation Completed Successfully’

Click OK to Exit.
