Pertinent Settings

Navigate to Custom Settings

1. Hover the mouse over Personal & Admin

2. Then hover over Settings

3. Click on Custom Settings

Show 'Return This SO' button on SO (Sales Order) Detail View

1. Click in the Search CS Custom Setting By Title box

2. Type ‘Return this SO’ then press Enter

3. Click on the Show ‘Return This SO’ button on SO Detail View

4. Click the checkbox to enable the setting

5. Click to highlight the roles intended to access the setting

6. Click the arrows to move over the roles

Purpose: This Setting will show Return this SO button when navigating to a sales order, making it a much simpler process.

Process

Navigate to the Sales Order Module

1. Hover the mouse over Point of Sale

2. Click on Sales Orders

Locate the Sales Order

1. Utilize the Filters to find the sales order

2. Click on the Sales Order Number

How to Perform a Normal Return

Non-Serialized Items

1. Scroll down the sales order

2. Click on Return This SO

3. A confirmation popup will appear asking for confirmation of creating a return sales order

4. Click on Yes

4. Click the appropriate payment type button to finalize the transaction

Serialized Items

Note: For serialized items, the Return this SO button will not be available in the sales order and the user will have to navigate through the traditional POS method.

Create a Sales Order

1. Click on Point of Sale

2. Enter the customer name intending to return

How to Perform a Normal Return on Serialized Items

1. Change the Transaction Type to ‘Normal Return’

2. Select a reason in the Return Reason dropdown

3. Scan or input the product number(s)

4. The Serial Number and Related Sales Order will automatically populate

5. Ensure that your price fields match the product that is expected

6. Click Confirm Bound Book Info

7. Click Proceed with FastBound Acquisition

8. Select the method of payment and cash out the customer
