Overview

This article is meant to inform the user on how to create a non-serialized product.

Process

Log in to Trident1

1. Visit the Trident1 provided portal

2. Enter your username and password

3. Click Login

Open

Navigate to the Create Product Module

1. Hover the mouse over the Products menu

2. Then hover over Products

3.Click Create Product

Open

Manual Product Creation

1. Name the Product Number to your preference, or click the random generation button

2. Fill in the UPC Field

3. Fill in the Product Description field with a brief description of the product

4. Set Has Serial Number to ‘No’

5. It is advised to fill out the following product fields:

• Fill out Manufacturer, Type and Type fields.

Product Information:

• Product Division

• Product Group

• PF1 (this will be your Sell Price)

• MAP

Location Information:

• Qty On Hand

• Part Taxed

Scanning Product Creation

On the Create Product screen

1. Click in the Unit Barcode field and scan the item

2. Scanning will populate the Unit Barcode as well as the Product Number

3. Fill in the Product Description field with a brief description of the product

4. It is advised to fill in the following product fields:

Product Information:

• Product Division

• Product Group

• PF1 (this will be your Sell Price)

• Switch Has Serial Number to ‘NO’

• Fill out Manufacturer, Type and Type fields.

Location Information:

• Qty On hand

• Part Taxed

1. Click Save after you've filled in the product fields to save the product
