How to Integrate FastBound to Trident1

Overview

FastBound is a preferred partner of Trident1, providing the electronic bound book functionality to our software.  Trident1 provides a seamless integration to FastBound through our API Integration through our Settings portal.

Process

Visit the Settings Page

1. Hover over Personal & Admin

2. Click Settings

Note: you must be an Admin in order to access these Settings

FastBound Settings

1. Click the FastBound API panel

2. Your interface will appear as such

Visit FastBound

Open a separate tab in your Browser and perform the following actions:

1. Login in to your FastBound account

The following credentials will be translated from FastBound to Trident1:

a. Bound Book Type - ALL is Default

b. Location - if you have multiple locations, we will need to ensure that this lined up correctly with your intended store configuration

c. Account Num - this is obtained from the URL (address) bar when you access FastBound

d. Audit User Email - this is your FastBound associated email address

e. Password - this your FastBound associated password

f. API Key - this is the unique API key generated by FastBound

To generate an API Key from FastBound

1. Log into your FastBound account

2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu

Under API Key

  1. Click Generate API Key

Under Licenses

  1. Copy the API key found in the Number column

In Trident1

  1. Paste the API key in the field provided

g. Form 4473 Passcode- this will be found in your FastBound account

1. Login in to your FastBound Account

2. Click Settings

3. Click 4473

4. The code can be user generated

5. Copy the Code provided

6. Paste the code into the Form 4473 Passcode field

After everything is filled in properly

g. Click Add
