API Info: Twilio to Trident1

Twilio is a third party API that is utilized for SMS Texting in Trident1. This article will instruct the user on how to connect your Twilio account to your Trident1 domain.

Process
Setup your Twilio
1. Sign up for Twilio
Gather API Information
In Twilio:
Account ID
1. Click Home

2. Copy the Account SID
API Key
1. Click Home on the left-hand side

2. Click Settings
[insert SS]
3. Click API Keys
[insert SS]
4. Click the + sign to create a new API key
[insert SS]
5. Click in the Friendly Name field. Enter in Trident1.

6. Click on the drop-down for Key Type. Select ‘Standard’.

7. Click Create API Key
[insert SS]
8. Copy the SID
9. Click the box for Got it!
10. Click Done

Phone Number
1. Find the phone number associated to your Twilio account
2. Copy the phone number
Connect Twilio API to Trident1
In Trident1:
Navigate to Twilio Setting
1. Click the Personal & Admin menu

2. Click the Twilio widget
[insert SS]
Connect Twilio to Trident1
3. Click in the Account ID field. Insert the Twilio account SID
4. Click in the Key field. Paste the SID gathered from the API key page.
5. Click in the Phone field. Paste the phone number associated to your Twilio account.

6. Click Add Twilio Setting to save
