The Lane 5000 is an Ethernet connected device and must be hardwired. A network enabled device (modem, router, switch) must be nearby in order to utilize this model.

The Move 5000 is a Wifi enabled device and can be connected to the Wifi to utilize. This model is best utilized whenever a hard-line is too far away from the device or the business would like an “on-the-go” functionality.

Link 4500

The Link 4500 is a Wifi enabled device and can be connected to the Wifi to utilize. This model is best utilized whenever a printer is not needed to be connected to the credit card device, a hard-line is too far away from the device and the business would like an “on-the-go” functionality. The Link 4500 is a more affordable option for WiFi capability compared to the Move 5000.
