How to Create a Counterperson Commission Rate

Overview

Trident1™ provides users the ability to create customer accounts, process orders, rentals, memberships and events. This work instruction provides a step by step process for creating commissions in Trident1.The following information is reviewed in the work instruction:

Business Rules

The following business rules must be followed in the process of creating commissions. The following employees are approved for processing a client request:

• Owner

• On Site Manager

Process

The following processes are performed for creating a commission in Trident1.

Counter Person Commission Rate

1. Login in to your Trident1 portal

1. Hover over Personal & Admin

2. Hover over Counter Person Commissions

3. Click on

Counter Person Commission Rate Books

Creating a Commission Book

Perform the following to complete a commission book.

1. Click the

plus icon

1. Click the

CR Book Name field.

1. Enter the new book's name.

2. Click

Save.

The book appears in the Commission Rates Books field.

Updating the Commission Book

Perform the following to update the newly created commission book.

1. Click

A new screen populates to set up the commission rules.

Add New Commission Rate Rule

Provide the required information to set up the commission for the sales group. Perform the following:

1. Click the

Employee drop-down.

1. Select the Employee

1. Click the

plus icon by the Customer field.

A screen populates for searching the customer.

Click the Contains field.

5.Enter the name.

6.Press Enter

7.Select the correct customer in the Customer Name field.

8.Click the name to add the customer.

9.Click the Report Codes field.

10.Enter the report code if applicable

11.Click the Product Number field.

12.Enter the number.

13.Click the Order Qty field.

14.Enter the quantity amount for the commission.

15.Click the CRR(Commission Rate Rule)Percent field.

16.Enter the percentage of the commissioned earned.

17.Click Save CRR

Commission Details

The information added into the commission rule is populated in the details section. Click Save to confirm the new commission rule book.
