How-To Create a Range Reservation with a Firearm Rental
Overview
Note: Please see How to Perform a Range Reservation article before starting
This article is the 2nd part to Creating a Rental Firearm and is intended to inform the Trident1 user on how to create a range reservation with a rental
Process
Navigate to the Range Reservation Calendar
1. Click the Range menu
Create a Range Reservation
1. Click on the desired time slot for the range reservation
2. Click the Customer/Member field. Type in the primary customer/member
If there is an additional shooter:
3. Click in the Additional Shooter field. Type in the additional shooter name.
4. Click the radio button to select the lane type for the reservation
5. Ensure the lane and price are correct
If this is a Walk-In:
6. Click Check-In Now
7. Ensure date and time period are correct
Add the rental firearm to the Reservation
8. Check the Rent Firearm(s) checkbox
9. Scan/enter in the barcode of the rental
10. Click Print Rental Pick Ticket if you want a pick ticket
11. Click Next
12. Click Pick to pickup this firearm and allocate to the reservation
13. Finalize by clicking Create SO, Check-In Only or Check-In & Create SO
Note: This illustration shows the Check-In only option
Check Out
Navigate to the Range Reservation Calendar
14. Click on the Range menu
15. Click the reservation you want to check out
16. Click Drop to drop the rental firearm and deallocate from the reservation
The Rental Firearm Details will now show when the firearm was picked and dropped
18. Click Proceed to Checkout to close out the reservation
19. Click Create SO to cash out the customer
Note: This will automatically create a sales order in the customer's name
20. Verify the rental firearm and lane fees.
Note: You can add other products at this time if needed.
21. Finalize the sales order by clicking the payment method
