How to Modify Payment Types

Q: Whenever I pull up a customer, the payment types aren’t fully showing up, for cash, check, credit card and such?

A: You will need to modify the payment types for the customer to ensure they have the accepted payment types under their customer profile.

How to Modify Payment Types

1. Navigate to the customer’s profile by:

a. Inputting the customer’s name in the POS and clicking on Customer Name

b. Clicking the Customer menu then searching the customer’s name and clicking on the Customer Name in the search results

2. Click on the Customer Detail section to expand

3. Find the Setting Acceptable Payment Types

4. Click on the Pencil icon to edit the allowed payment methods

5. Select the acceptable payment types

Note: If you would like to highlight multiple payment types, click on each type while holding down the Ctrl key

6. Click Save
