How to Place a Membership on Hold

There are times in your business that a customer may want to suspend their membership temporarily.  Trident 1 has the ability to place a brief hold on a membership to stop the billing of a membership.

How to Place a Membership on Hold:

1. Click the Memberships menu

2. Navigate to the individual's membership by searching by the customer’s name or other identifying values and click Search Now

3. Click the Membership Number of the customer’s record

4. Click the Edit button at the top right

5. Change the Status to ‘Hold’

6. Click Save

Note that whenever you place a Customer's billing information on Hold, they will not get charged during the period they are placed on hold.  Trident 1 calculates the days that they are on hold and adds it to the backend of their Membership, thus extending their Membership by those amount of days.
