Edit Corresponding Terminals and Registers Names

Overview

This article is meant to inform the user on how to edit terminals and registers

In order to reach this step, Expinet must first be attached to Trident1 which can be referred to in the article API Info: Expinet to Trident1

Process

Log in to Trident1

1. Visit the Trident1 provided portal

2. Enter your username and password

3. Click Login

Pertinent Settings

Add a Register

1. Hover the mouser over the Personal & Admin menu

2. Then hover over Settings

3. Click Custom Settings

4. In the Search CS Custom Setting by Title field, type 'register' and press Enter

5. Select the setting, ‘EOD by Register’

6. Click the box to enable (if disabled; system default is 'ON')

7. Click the drop-down to select the location

8. Click + Add Option to add an option

9. Type your register name, then click out of the Field

Register to Terminal Association

1. Click the Personal & Admin menu to go to the Settings widget screen

2. Click the Expinet icon

3. Scroll down and you will see the current Terminal/Register configuration

4. Click the Pencil icon in the Action column

5. Edit the Terminal name if needed

6. Click the Register drop-down and choose which register you would like to assign

7. Click Update
